Shield to Purchase NetIQ's Security Publications Business
Transaction
to Include Exclusive Licensing Agreement

Information
Shield, a leading developer of information security practices, today
announced that is has entered into an agreement with NetIQ Corp.
(Nasdaq: NTIQ), a leading provider of Systems & Security Management
and Web Analytics solutions, to purchase the company's security
publications business. As part of the agreement, NetIQ will continue
to have exclusive rights to embed this leading security policy content
into its own security management solutions and will retain certain
exclusive distribution rights.
Under
the agreement, Information Shield will acquire NetIQ's security
publications business, which publishes Information Security
Policies Made Easy and Information Security Roles and Responsibilities
Made Easy, both authored by the recognized security expert
Charles Cresson Wood. Information Shield will support the existing
customers and business partners of the security publications, and
anticipates providing future updates to these industry-leading references.
